A family tale
Created in 1952, in the West of France, Meubles CELIO is a family company. Today, the third generation is still loyal to its origins, history, culture and the local population.
For 70 years, the Liault family has been carrying on the know-how of the best French craftspeople and inventing contemporary solutions to improve home comfort, storage and aesthetics.
Specialised in bedrooms and walk-in wardrobes, Meubles CELIO also offers smart storage solutions including wallbeds, lounge furniture and made-to-measure units.
Making your house a beautiful home is the ethos of this family, who are constantly seeking to innovate.

Since the creation of our company, quality has been our priority. It’s what makes our products successful and sets our brand apart from the rest.
It all started out in 1952, on the workbench of Claude Liault - founder of the company - and continues today, thanks to the 200 women and men who work there, and to new technologies. Meubles CELIO is committed to excellence, with the same attention to detail, thirst for innovation, and refusal to accept anything less than perfection when it comes to the robustness of materials and the solidity of the furniture it manufactures.

Proud of our commitments
Knowing where we come from, means knowing where we’re going.
That’s why the entire company is behind local sport and by supporting three athletes from the Deux-Sèvres department, behind toddlers and young children too, by co-funding a crèche, and behind the associative sphere, by gifting 4 trucks of new furnitures to EMMAÜS in 2022.
Becoming ever more responsible
We take action to contribute to protecting the planet and to reduce the environmental impact of our manufacturing process as much as possible. We sort waste and use recycled cardboard packaging.
Our factory is entirely heated by burning our offcuts, wood shavings and sawdust.
At Meubles CELIO, the types of wood used to manufacture our panels come from sustainably managed forests, and all our furniture is manufactured in France, then delivered to our stores without crossing oceans or travelling across the world.
Every day, Meubles CELIO optimizes its industrial process to make it more environmentally friendly, for example by using water-based lacquers and choosing fabrics made from recycled plastic to make mattresses and the sofa seats for our wallbeds.
